“Meeewe! I’m CRow, shopCaT and BosS of evryOne. Am iN charge! Mrow!”

Crow has been a member of the Portland team since February 2019. Born in rural Oregon sometime in early 2018, Crow was rescued by a few friendly witches and moved to their foster care in Oakland for his formative months. Through internet magic, arrangements were made to move him back to his home state and into the care of Iris and the Portland shop. One *very* long drive later, he was happily settling into his magical new home.

Crow takes his work at the shop seriously. As our night watch cat, he maintains order among the insects and positive relations with the ghosts who visit our sweet old haunted house. When clients come for readings, Crow is happy to nap under the table, on a lap, or occasionally right on the cards, providing emotional support when the truth is hard to handle. He is an excellent greeter, accepting pets from adults and children alike, but showing good boundaries by finding his favorite hiding spot when he’s had too much attention or when dogs come to visit. He’s also an expert at work-life balance, often laying across keyboards and paperwork, requiring staff to take a break.

In addition to looking the part perfectly, this black cat loves magic! He wanders through ritual spaces, adding his gentle purrs to energy raising chants and songs. Playful, precocious and honestly perfectly suited to being a shop cat, Crow is a true blessing.
