Dive into the world of book arts and learn how to make your own magickal journal using recycled materials. You will learn basic sewn book binding, while creating a custom cover using fabric, paint and old book covers. Take home your hand crafted book to use in your magickal practice as a grimoire or book of shadows, planner or scrapbook.

Jessica Werner is a lifelong witch and self-taught multi-media artist. Based in Portland, OR, she creates from a studio at ADX, where her practice integrates mixed media collage, illustration, bookmaking, and printmaking. For over 25 years, art journaling has served as a powerful form of self-expression and meditation practice for Jessica. Her recent projects include a mixed-media tarot deck, bookbinding and collage workshops, all powered by herbal tea, kombucha and paranormal podcasts.
