We recognize that, despite all our hopes, we are still in a pandemic. Alas!

We’ve been running a high-efficiency air filter in our stores for quite a while and therefore dropped our mask requirement some time ago, but in Portland we started requiring masks again on Wednesdays and Saturdays out of concern for our immunocompromised community.

However! We have now gotten a second high-efficiency air filter in Portland, which means the air inside the store may be cleaner than our average indoor-air at home even. That, combined with the warming weather that allows for us to keep our front door and multiple windows open, means that we are dropping the mask requirement on Wednesdays and Saturdays as well.

We are all vaccinated, but even with all these precautions some of us still choose to mask in public. We encourage you to make the choice that feels safest to you, and we look forward to seeing you in the shop!
