Dear friends,
We hope everyone is recovering from the intensity of the solar eclipse followed by a Mercury retrograde!
We’re currently working on a big-picture project which is to create a new community co-op membership option so that y’all can be part of the co-op too! Creating a safe, magical community space is the mission that keeps us going every day, and lots of folks have asked how they can be a part of it, so we’re working with the Northwest Co-op Development Center and students at Evergreen College to work out the details to make this happen.
For those who want to support us in an ongoing way but live far away or just want other options, we’re also working on launching a Patreon and creating more online content, so you can stay connected no matter where you might be.
In all honesty, things are continuing to be very hard here at our little anti-establishment co-op witch shop. Sales are still down which makes it hard to restock the way we need to, leading to less for folks to buy, leading to decreased sales, etc.
But we’re not just sitting idly by wringing our hands! In fact we’ve been applying for grants left and right, so any good energy you’d like to send our way toward receiving them would be very much appreciated. In the meantime, we have many lovely things for sale, including lots of beautiful wares created by many different local community artists and makers! Stop on by soon for a peek into the backyard, a class or ritual, a cup of tea, and/or a pretty new gift for yourself or your loved ones. Not to mention that any contributions to this GoFundMe have a direct and immediate impact on keeping us afloat while we work on all these goals.
We’ve also got a full slate of fun activities coming up in the next couple of months: in addition to our regularly recurring rituals and events, Willow and Jenny are starting their herbalism classes again, we’ve got another Intro to Witchcraft series starting, an art show opening, a tea-leaf-reading tea party, and a sound healing concert in the backyard. The backyard is our next big facilities project; we’ve received lots of plants, planters, and garden decor, and we’re working on scheduling some events around garden planning and garden work days.
Plus we are so excited about our upcoming Divination Fair on May 5th! You can learn a little about all the talented readers who’ll be here on our website.
We hope to see you soon!
In community,
Your neighborhood witches (and Crow) at The Raven’s Wing
