For our Community Reading for the Week we asked Jenny in our Portland store for her take on what we have to look forward to. the reading this week week starts with a full blood moon eclipse today, Sunday May 15th and runs for the week. For this reading Jenny is using the Oak, Ash, and Thorn by Three Trees Tarot.
Issue - The Emperor:
It's a question of sovereignty and our right to determine our own fate. The Emperor tends to fear change and may exert pressure to control what he sees as his domain, especially when the world feels uncertain. But the Emperor is also our own wisdom in managing ourselves/our realm wisely.
Action - King of Pentacles:
When external pressures bear down, our most solid defense is to take a deep breath, gather our resources, and hold tightly to our claim on ourselves. Remember that even slow movement is movement, and can often be more lasting than rapid upheaval. More than ever, we must keep our footing and take a long view. What we choose now will unfold over time.
Outcome - Temperance:
We can find our way to balance, though it often means compromise on all sides. Our differences foster strength as well as division, and now, in this full moon eclipse moment, it's time to step back from the precipice of rage, and rest. Nurturing ourselves and our communities gives us the means to continue working toward a brighter future.
Note from the Universe - Three of Cups:
Never let anyone steal your joy! If all we're doing is preparing for another slog, then what is the point of the struggle? Struggle is not an end in itself, and we absolutely MUST give ourselves space to enjoy life. Things will never be perfect, so don't wait! Embrace joy now; especially now.
