Our Reading for the Week comes from Miss Remy at our Portland store. Starting today Sunday, July 17th, she is using The Thread Bound Oracle by Cedar McCloud for this week's reading.
The Waters
Emotions are very high this week, a lot of shifts and changes are happening all at once. But that doesn’t have to be a “bad thing.” Change can bring about a release of something no longer useful, which can provide you with the deep relief you have been searching for. Stop trying to swim upstream. Water like emotions, and like life, we must learn to surrender and flow with the current, or else swallowed whole by it.
The Dance
Learning to go with the flow of life is much like a dance. The twists and dips, the spins, the quick quick SLOW of it all. But, if you can trust in yourself; in your body to know how to move, if you can learn to lead AND to follow, we begin to trust in the Divine Plan. Remember the Universe/Spirit/Goddess/God know more than we could ever hope to know. Stop being so human, and thinking you know best! Find catharsis in “let go [of the ‘How’] and let God.” Just because it doesn’t look the way you expect it to, doesn’t mean it’s not going to be amazing.
Ace of Ink: Pigment
The Pigment card reminds us that this is all part of the process, and that in most cases, the process takes time. It doesn’t usually happen overnight, though it can. You’re the only one standing your way. You are the Alchemist of your own life, it takes experimentation, trial and error, hitting rock-bottom and flying high above the clouds. What is an Alchemist? Someone who can change one thing into another. What will you change the pain into? What about the trauma, what will you make out of that? What will you transform in your life?
