The Virgo new moon arrives at 1:17am on Saturday with the Sun and Moon meeting at 4 degrees and exactly squaring Mars in Gemini.

An otherwise grounding and stabilizing new moon is getting prodded by eager Mars in Gemini to go faster, do more, NOW. Watch for impatience and irritation at the little processes that Virgo relishes in and absolutely bores Mars in Gemini.

This new moon is occurring in the first decan (10 degrees) of Virgo, which is associated with the 8 of Pentacles, a tarot card all about practice and repetition. If you have a deck, pull out this card and keep it nearby when you are working on something that needs your concentration.

You can use that Mars energy to kick start something that you've been putting off and then channel that 8 of Pentacles persistence to get 'er done!
