March 6, 2022 - Reading of the Week

We asked Iris from our Portland store to share her insights for our Community Reading for the Week. She is looking ahead from today (Sunday, March 6th) to the end of the week using The Wild Unknown tarot by Kim Krans for this week's look ahead.

On our minds: The 9 of Pentacles
When will there be rest? When will we feel safe? How can we add feathers to soften our nest? How can we cradle our thoughts and care for them?

In our hearts: IX The Hermit
We are afraid that we are alone, that we cannot connect with those around us. We are worried that we cannot rely on anyone else to be responsible. We are scared that stepping outside of ourselves will lead us to more fear and more frustration.

Our next step: The 5 of Pentacles
We need to step into a life where grief and joy exist at once. We are never going to be free of grief, but we do get to choose to invite joy.

The Lesson: XIV Temperance
The truth is, we need more than a steady diet of pain and misery. Our survival requires joy. We find ourselves strengthened and more balanced when we prioritize joy.
